My name is Mohammad Qadri.  I am in Crew 114 and working on earning my Eagle Scout rank, the highest rank in Boy Scouts.  One of the requirements to achieve the rank is to plan and conduct a service project that will benefit the community.  My service project is a workshop about Janazah/Funeral preparation.  The workshop aims for educating youth and adult Muslims the proper way of washing, shrouding and transporting a deceased person’s body according to Islamic teachings. The workshop will end with a visit to a local cemetery to show the proper burial techniques.  In order to retain the information, parts of the workshop will be recorded, edited, and uploaded onto a website; janazah.org which will be launched after all media is uploaded and the service project is completed.

The funds I hope to receive, will be spent on the website and its maintenance, supplies for the workshop, and cost of the take home materials.  I will appreciate any and every help that comes my way.
